Skorika exists so a trainer can measure what a team actually knows. That job needs very little personal information, and we would rather hold less of it than more. These are the principles we work to:
This Privacy Policy and Privacy Notice (the “Policy”) applies to users of skorika.com and describes how we collect, use, share, store, and protect your personal information, and how you can access, correct, export, or delete it.
The Skorika platform covers the website at skorika.com, the trainer console, the live quiz session screens, the participant join pages, homework and class material pages, the file sharing service at drive.skorika.com, and support we provide by email (together, the “Services”).
By using the Services you accept the terms described in this Policy. If you do not accept them, please stop using the Services.
Two kinds of people use Skorika, and the amount of information involved is very different for each.
Where a trainer runs a session for an organisation, that organisation decides who is invited and what the quiz asks. Skorika processes the resulting data on the trainer’s behalf.
Skorika does not ask for and does not want sensitive personal information. We do not collect racial or ethnic origin, religious or political belief, trade union membership, health or biometric data, genetic data, sexual orientation, financial account numbers, or government identity numbers. We do not collect precise location such as GPS.
Quiz questions are written by trainers, not by Skorika. A trainer should not use a quiz to gather any of the categories above.
If you create an account we store the name, email address, and password you supply. The password is stored only as a one-way hash and cannot be read back by anyone, including us.
As you use the console you also create content: quizzes, questions and answer keys, session settings, homework assignments, class material folders, and any files you upload. Uploaded files are stored as you sent them.
Participants provide only the display name they type on the join screen, plus the answers they give during the session. A participant who would rather not be identified can type an alias; the platform does not check it. Participants also pick an avatar, which is stored as a code for one of our stock illustrations, not as a photograph.

Some technical information is recorded as the Services are used:
We do not run analytics products, advertising trackers, or session recording. We do not read your browser history, contacts, or files outside what you upload to Skorika. We do not access your camera or microphone.
We use the information above to:
We do not use participant data for advertising, and we do not build behavioural profiles.
We may keep information longer where the law requires it, or where it is needed to resolve a dispute or enforce our terms.
Running Skorika needs a small number of outside services. They are:
When you turn on “Anyone with the link” for a folder, anyone holding that link can open and download what is inside without signing in. Treat the link itself as the key. You can switch it back to restricted, or set an expiry date, at any time from the console.
We may disclose information where we are legally required to, or where we believe in good faith that it is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of our users or the public. If Skorika or substantially all of its assets change hands, account information would transfer with the service and would remain subject to a policy no less protective than this one.
Skorika sets one cookie, skorika_cookie_consent, which records whether you
accepted or declined the cookie notice. It lasts one year and carries nothing else.
We also use your browser’s local storage, which is not a cookie and is not sent to our servers automatically. It holds your sign-in token so you stay signed in, a copy of your own account name and role so the interface can render, and small preferences such as whether session sound is on. Clearing your browser data removes all of it and signs you out.
There are no third-party tracking cookies on Skorika.

No system on the internet is perfectly secure. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal information we will tell affected account holders and act to limit the damage.
You may ask us to show you what personal information we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, give you a copy, delete it, or stop a particular use of it. We do not charge for this and we will not treat you differently for asking.
Skorika is built for workplace and professional training and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly create accounts for children. Participants join with a code and a name only, and are never asked to register or supply contact details.
If a trainer chooses to run a session with participants who are children, that trainer is responsible for obtaining whatever consent local law requires. If you believe a child has supplied personal information to us, write to the address in Section 11 and we will delete it.
We may revise this Policy. The date at the top always shows the current version. Where a change materially affects how personal information is handled, we will give notice on the site before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Services after that point means you accept the revised Policy. If you do not, you may delete your account and stop using the Services.
